Receive Email Instantly with Direct Push Technology
Windows Mobile Direct Push technology takes messaging to the next level by adding instant delivery. The Direct Push technology in MSFP means that our Hosted Exchange Server sends Outlook messaging directly to your device over the air (OTA) through your 3G/GPRS mobile provider. Like your desktop computer or laptop, your smartphone device can offer quick e-mail flow and easy access to your calendar and tasks.
Typical direct push scenarios
You leave the office for a client meeting, while on the road the customer calls to let you know the venue has been changed and that they have emailed you the new address and a map. While on the call you hear a new email notification beep, "Yep that's fine, I have the map now".
You decide to go straight to your morning presentation from home, you realise that you have left the business card for the person you are meeting at the office. You phone your office, the office administrator inputs the details into your shared contacts, which is instantly and automatically beamed to your device.
On the way back to the office from lunch you receive a calendar entry, your assistant has booked an urgent appointment with an important client five minutes away from where you are.
